In addition to student housing, the Student Centre provides housing for junior scientists of the University of Novi Sad in the following locations:

Cafeterias

About 6,500 students of the University of Novi Sad eat in student restaurants. Food services for students are offered in three restaurants and six cafeterias. The cafeterias are situated in the residential halls: “Sajmište”, “Novi B”, “Živojin Ćulum”, “Slobodan Bajić”, at the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Agriculture and the Academy of Arts.

Student restaurant facilities are built in the following locations:

  • Restaurant No. 1, Mihajla Pupina 20
  • Restaurant No. 3, Dr Sime Miloševića 4
  • Restaurant No. 4, Valtera Perića 5

Eligibility for reduced-price meals

Student Centre is funded from the budget of the Republic of Serbia and partly from payments made by the students who use its services.

According to Article 7 of the Pupil ad Student Standards, students are eligible for receiving three meals a day if they are students of the faculties and higher educational institutions and whose tuition is funded from the budget of the Republic of Serbia and whose permanent residence is not in the place of their studies.

Students are eligible for receiving one meal a day if they are students of the faculties and higher educational institutions and whose tuition is funded from the budget of the Republic of Serbia and whose permanent residence is in the place of their studies.

Students are eligible for meals if they study at higher educational institutions which have not been founded by the Republic of Serbia, the Autonomous Province or local government, or if they are self-funded students. In this case, a special price is established by the Management Board of the Student Centre and approved by the Ministry.

Student Health Centre

Student Health Centre comprises the following specialist clinics:

  • two gynecology clinics,
  • internal medicine clinic,
  • ophthalmology clinic,
  • dermatology clinic,
  • othorhinolaryngology clinic,
  • neuropsychiatric clinic with the counseling services and speech pathologist, and
  • sport medicine clinicу.

In addition there are:

  • 5 dental clinics,
  • 5 general health care clinics,
  • laboratory, and
  • visiting nurse service.

Student Health Centre is ideally located within the University Campus, the place where most of the students from faculties and higher schools commute to. The main focus of the Health Centre is health prevention which helps early detection of specific diseases and deformities among students, which could be detrimental to their studies and normal life.
