In accordance to the Law on Higher Education (Article 30) and the Statute of the Faculty of Sciences (Article 171), every doctoral dissertation and the evaluation report of the Doctoral Thesis Evaluation Commission are available to the public in electronic form at least 30 days prior to the acceptance of the evaluation report at the Faculty Council and the defense of the doctoral thesis.
The University of Novi Sad established a Digital Library of Dissertations as a digital repository where electronic versions of the defended doctoral dissertations are kept permanently. The repository is refilled daily with the dissertations defended after the public view period, and previously defended dissertations are digitalized according to the resources available at individual faculties of the University.
National repository of dissertations in Serbia, NaRDUS, is a joint portal of all doctoral dissertations and their evaluation reports at the universities of Serbia.
